Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join a school-based team in St. Louis, MO. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity to support students with medical and mobility needs, ensuring they have access to a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Job Overview
As a CNA in a school setting, you will assist students with daily care, mobility, and medical monitoring, working closely with school nurses, therapists, and special education staff to provide essential support. Your role will be crucial in promoting student independence and well-being throughout the school day.
Responsibilities
- Assist students with daily living tasks, including toileting, feeding, and personal hygiene.
- Support mobility and positioning, including lifting, transfers, and adaptive equipment use.
- Monitor and report student health concerns to the school nurse or designated staff.
- Help students remain engaged in classroom activities and social interactions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student care and assistance provided.
- Follow safety protocols and respond to medical emergencies as needed.
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification in Missouri required.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Prior experience in pediatrics, education, or special needs settings is a plus.
- Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills.

- Pay Rate: $1825 per hour (based on experience)
- Job Type: Full-time, contract position

- Schedule: MondayFriday, school hours
