Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Current state certification or licensure in School Psychology
- Experience working in K-12 settings, with a strong understanding of educational policies and practices
- Proficient in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and implementing behavioral interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and faculty
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases and documentation efficiently
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Provide individual and group counseling to support students' mental health and academic success
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to create tailored intervention plans
- Serve as a resource for parents and staff regarding students psychological needs and best practices
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs
- Implement crisis intervention strategies and support students during challenging situations
