A school district in Lowell, MA is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to support K-12 students on a contract basis for the upcoming school year. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic educational setting, providing essential psychological services that promote student well-being and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students K-12
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and interventions to address behavioral, emotional, and social challenges
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to decision-making processes
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with diverse K-12 student populations
- Strong knowledge of educational psychology principles and assessment tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
