Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school in Denver, CO is seeking a Special Education Teacher for an elementary school on a contract basis for the uping school year. This role is critical in supporting the academic and social development of students with diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique requirements
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure effective instructional strategies
- Monitor student progress, provide assessments, and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Maintain accurate records and municate effectively with all stakeholders
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student growth and independence
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification or licensure
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education setting
