We’re currently hiring a full-time School Occupational Therapist to support a school district in Bremerton, WA for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a fully on-site role.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide school-based OT services that help students overcome physical, sensory, cognitive, and emotional challenges—enabling them to fully access their education. You'll work collaboratively with a supportive, multidisciplinary team to empower students and promote independence across the school day.
Position Details: Duration: September 2025 – June 2026
Schedule: Full-Time
Location: On-Site in Bremerton, WA
Responsibilities:

Supporting the development of fine motor skills (e.g., handwriting, cutting, tool use).

Improving gross motor coordination, posture, and balance.

Promoting independence in daily routines (e.g., dressing, feeding, toileting when appropriate).

Assisting with sensory regulation strategies and focus accommodations.

Adapting classroom tools and materials to promote accessibility.

Recommending and training students on assistive technology (e.g., pencil grips, slant boards).

Collaborating with teachers, families, and specialists on accommodations/interventions.

Conducting evaluations and contributing to IEPs and 504 plans.

Monitoring and documenting progress toward therapy goals.
Qualifications:

Active Washington State Occupational Therapy License.

Valid ESA Certificate (Educational Staff Associate).

Prior school-based experience preferred.

Familiarity with IEP documentation systems a plus.

Must be available for full-time, in-person work.
