Technical Solutions Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Technical Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise in electro-mechanical systems and control systems integration while effectively communicating with customers to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions. This role combines engineering knowledge with sales skills to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to understand their technical needs and provide solutions.
- Interpret customer specifications and develop product/system scope and quotations accordingly.
- Provide technical expertise on electro-mechanical systems, control systems integration, and data acquisition systems (DAQ).
- Assist customers in motor and drive sizing, hydraulic and pneumatic system layout.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure successful implementation of solutions and meet customer requirements.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients.
- Participate in trade shows and industry events to showcase our products and services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in sales or technical support within the electro-mechanical or control systems industry.
- Strong understanding of electro-mechanical systems and control systems integration.
- Experience with data acquisition systems (DAQ) and motor/drive sizing is preferred.
- Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and develop appropriate solutions.
