A school district in Derby, KS is seeking skilled School Psychologists to support K-12 students throughout the uping full semester. This contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to the mental health and academic success of diverse learners across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting prehensive psychological assessments and interpreting results for K-12 students.
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
- Providing counseling and crisis intervention services as needed.
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting support services accordingly.
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to advocate for student needs.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid School Psychologist credential with experience supporting K-12 caseloads.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and provide both assessment and counseling services.
- Strong munication skills for collaboration with school personnel and families.
- Preference given to candidates available full-time; part-time consideration based on availability and experience.
- Candidates will be evaluated based on caseload experience and preference.
- A Voco demonstration is scheduled for 7/14, with interviews to follow.
