A middle school in Loveland, OH, seeks a dedicated School Psychologist for a contract position from August 11 to May 22. This role provides a unique opportunity to support students emotional and academic growth through evaluations, counseling, and intervention assistance within a dynamic educational setting.
The position operates during school hours, 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM, with openings for both full-time and part-time candidates. Full-time psychologists will manage a caseload of approximately 50 students, while part-time professionals will oversee about 25 students. This balance allows flexibility depending on your availability and experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting prehensive psychological evaluations to identify students' needs and strengths
- Providing counseling services tailored to support individual student challenges
- Collaborating with staff to assist and enhance the schools intervention programs aimed at improving student outes
Desired qualifications and experience:
- A valid license or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in a middle school environment preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and intervention strategies
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and students
