Job Title: Special Education Teacher (SPED – LBS1 Certified)
Location: Beardstown, IL 62618
Pay Rate: $85/hour Contract Length: 43 Weeks Schedule: Monday – Friday, Full-Time (In-Person) Start Date: 08/11/2025
Job Overview: We are looking for a passionate and qualified Special Education Teacher (LBS1 certified) to join a supportive educational team in Beardstown, IL. This is a full-time, in-person position, starting on August 11, 2025.
Responsibilities:

<li>
Provide specialized instruction to students with various disabilities
</li>
<li>
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
</li>
<li>
Collaborate with general education teachers, school staff, and families
</li>
<li>
Monitor and track student progress, adjusting instruction as needed
</li>
<li>
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in line with state and federal requirements
</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>
Valid Illinois LBS1 certification
</li>
<li>
Minimum of 1 year of experience working in special education (preferred)
</li>
<li>
Must be able to work on-site, Monday through Friday in Beardstown, IL
</li>
