Job DescriptionTeam Carney, a dynamic performance and professional development focused company, is actively seeking an Instructional Systems Designer to support the Training Division of a government agency. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing the ADDIE model in the development of curriculum to include learning objectives, instructional strategies, structure and sequence, instructional training material, evaluations, multimedia assets, and e-learning courses.
This position is contingent on contract award.
This position is Hybrid with some travel required within CONUS.
This position requires a current or obtainable Public Trust clearance.
Duties:

Designs and develops online and face-to-face instructional material for adult learners.

Demonstrates and utilizes effective needs analysis, project management, course development, and evaluation skills for adult training and/or education.

Ability to utilize multimedia technology and authoring tools.
- Ability for technical Writing, teaching/training, performance measuring, multimedia, curriculum and course development.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current or obtainable Public Trust clearance
- Minimum of five years of instructional design experience.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Instructional Design.
- In lieu of a BA or MA in Instructional Design, a degree in Education or related subject may be substituted for a degree in Instructional Design IF transcripts demonstrate at least 24 semester hours of course work in Adult Education. The course work must have included study in at least four of the following five areas, directly related to adult learning: Learning theory, Psychology of learning, educational psychology, Instructional design practices, Educational evaluation, Instructional product development, Computers in education and training.
