A full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is available for a middle school setting in Chicago, IL, with a contract extending through the next school year. This role offers a focused environment to support students requiring specialized educational services in grades 5-8.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and support to middle school students with disabilities.
- Develop and implement IEP goals aligned with students needs.
- Collaborate with school leaders and multidisciplinary teams to tailor educational plans.
- Maintain accurate records and participate in ongoing assessment and progress monitoring.
- Engage with families and guardians to support student success.
Qualifications:
- Valid LBS1 certification required.
- Proven experience working with middle school students (grades 5-8).
- Commitment to on-site, in-person instruction.
- Availability to start on July 28, 2025.
- Ability to manage caseloads, with details to be discussed directly during onsite interviews.
