Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Special Education Teacher position is available for the upcoming school year, serving K-12 students in a public school setting in Bryant, AR. This contract role runs from August 13, 2025, through May 21, 2026, offering a structured 5-day workweek with approximately 37 hours per week.
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education (SPED) license, current and recognized in Arkansas
- Experience working with K-12 students requiring specialized educational support
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to support student learning and development
- Monitor student progress and adapt instructional strategies accordingly
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to meet state and district requirements
