Job DescriptionSpecial Education Teacher – FRP (Full Resource Program)
Position Type: Full-Time
We are seeking a committed and experienced Special Education Teacher to support students in a Full Resource Program (FRP) setting. The ideal candidate will provide individualized and small-group instruction, ensure compliance with IEPs, and collaborate with school staff and families to meet the academic and behavioral needs of students.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education or related field

Valid Arizona Secondary Teaching Certificate or appropriate certification
-
Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

SEI Endorsement
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver differentiated instruction aligned to student IEP goals

Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment

Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers
-
Implement appropriate strategies for behavior management and student engagement
-
Maintain accurate student records, including IEP documentation and progress reports
-
Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and needs
-
Use assessment data to inform instruction and support student growth

Participate in eligibility and IEP team meetings
-
Ensure student safety and appropriate supervision on school grounds and during school activities

Engage in ongoing professional development

Perform other duties as assigned
