Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialized opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support middle school students in Red Oak, TX, on a contract basis for the next school year. This role focuses on delivering tailored educational instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs within a middle school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) aligned with state and federal guidelines.
- Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to acmodate students unique learning styles and abilities.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster a supportive learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and assessments.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to support a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Participate in professional development and team meetings as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
- Experience working with middle school-aged students preferred.
- Strong understanding of IEP development and special education laws.
- Ability to adapt teaching methodologies based on student needs.
- Effective munication and collaboration skills.
- Patience, dedication, and mitment to student success.
