As a TRS 3-Star Accredited center, we are committed to providing high-quality early childhood education in a nurturing, structured, and engaging environment where both children and teachers thrive.Position Overview:We are seeking a Lead Teacher for our Younger 2’s classroom—someone who brings patience, positivity, and a strong sense of structure. This age group is full of energy, curiosity, and big developmental leaps, and we need a teacher who can confidently guide them through routines, social-emotional learning, and age-appropriate milestones. The right candidate will be organized, nurturing, and able to effectively communicate with parents, support toilet learning, and create a classroom where toddlers feel safe, loved, and ready to explore.Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain a nurturing, structured, and consistent daily routine.
- Implement provided lesson plans that focus on language development, sensory play, motor skills, and socialization.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that supports active exploration.
- Support and guide toddlers through transitions, emotional regulation, and early independence.
- Observe and track developmental milestones and behaviors; communicate progress with families.
- Communicate daily with parents through reports, updates, and in-person conversations.
- Collaborate with assistant teachers and center leadership to maintain high-quality care.
- Adhere to all licensing standards, TRS guidelines, and center policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
- At least 1–2 years of experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare center.
- Familiarity with developmental stages of 18–30 months and the ability to create age-appropriate routines and experiences.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills with both young children and adults.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and actively engage with children at their level throughout the day.
