A high school is seeking a Special Education Teacher to provide instruction and support for students with moderate to severe disabilities. This is a contract position for the upcoming school year located in Corydon, IN.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities
- Adapt and modify curriculum to meet diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create inclusive learning environments
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development and needs
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Education
- Special Education certification valid in Indiana
- Licensed to teach Moderate or Severe caseloads
Location: Corydon, Indiana
Duration: Contract for the school year
