Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years special education experience required.

A full-semester contract position is available for a Special Education Teacher to work with K-12 students in Waukegan, IL. This role requires a dedicated professional passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs and creating an inclusive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' unique needs.
• Adapt general curriculum materials to acmodate learning differences.
• Collaborate with general education staff, families, and support personnel to foster student success.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom atmosphere.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
