Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position seeks a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support high school students in Red Oak, TX, for the uping school year. The role focuses on creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with special needs, ensuring their academic and social development in an inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective IEPs based on student assessments and goals.
- Adapt general curriculum content to meet the specific needs of students with disabilities.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, counselors, and parents to support student success.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and municate developments with relevant stakeholders.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to ensure a positive and productive classroom atmosphere.
- Participate in professional development activities to stay current with special education best practices.

- Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
- Experience working with high school students with diverse special needs.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal special education regulations.
