Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education
- Valid Special Education certification in Arizona
- Active IVP fingerprint card
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and parents
- Experience working with high school-aged students preferred
Location:
- Glendale, AZ
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' unique needs
- Assess and evaluate students' progress, maintaining detailed records and documentation
- Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure comprehensive student support
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and training as required
