This full-time, center-based classroom position offers the opportunity to work with K-12 students in a supportive educational environment in Denver, CO. The role runs from August 12, 2025, through May 22, 2026, with a standard 37.5-hour workweek. The specific school site and student age group will be determined.
Responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs), providing tailored instruction to students with diverse learning needs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining prehensive records in pliance with state guidelines.
Candidates must hold a valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Education License with a Generalist Endorsement for ages 5-21. Substitutes, temporary licenses, or those without the appropriate endorsement will not be considered unless proof of application for the correct endorsement has been submitted. Hybrid or VOCO positions are not available. Travelers will only be considered if they have already applied for the CDE Special Education Generalist license with the necessary endorsement.
