A full-time School Psychologist position is available to support a K-12 school community in Newark, OH, for the 20252026 school year. This contract role offers an opportunity to work with a diverse caseload primarily composed of high school students, including those in non-public and scholarship programs.
Responsibilities include conducting initial evaluations and reevaluations to assess student needs, collaborating with educators and families, and contributing to the development of support plans that promote student success. The psychologist will primarily serve one main school site with occasional support to other programs as needed.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Ohio School Psychologist licensure
- Experience working with students in grades K-12, with a focus on high school populations
- Skilled in conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations and reevaluations
- Ability to manage a caseload ranging approximately from 100 to 110 students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with school teams and families
Position Details:
- Start Date: August 1, 2025
- End Date: June 11, 2026
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Caseload: Varied, mainly high school-aged students
- Location: One primary school site in Newark, OH
