Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Support the development of children's social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
• Supervise and engage with children during playtime and classroom activities.
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Communicate effectively with parents about children's progress and daily activities.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Encourage positive behavior and resolve conflicts among children.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including lesson documentation and attendance tracking.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for teaching and nurturing young children.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Basic knowledge of child development principles.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Background check clearance as required by state regulations.
