A school district in Sugar Land, TX is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support K-12 students throughout the upcoming school year. This contract position offers an opportunity to work closely with educators, families, and students to promote academic success and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations and interpret results to guide instructional programming.
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention plans.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expert insights.
- Facilitate assessments related to special education eligibility and behavioral support.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings.
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, counseling techniques, and educational law.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
