Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity seeks five dedicated Special Education Teachers to provide essential support across elementary, middle, and high school levels in Saint Paul, MN. The role is full-time and onsite, focusing on delivering quality education to K-12 students with diverse learning needs throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage caseloads averaging 10-15 students with cross-categorical disabilities, including SLD, DCD, ASD, ABS, and others.
- Provide case management and individualized small group instruction to support student academic and social growth.
- Develop and implement tailored educational plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Monitor student progress and adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse learner needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in parent and staff meetings as necessary.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching license applicable to cross-categorical settings.
- Experience working with a range of disabilities, including specific learning disabilities (SLD), developmental cognitive disabilities (DCD), autism spectrum disorders (ASD), and affective behavioral specialists (ABS).
- Strong caseload management skills balancing case management responsibilities with direct instruction.
- Excellent munication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families.

Location and Schedule:
- Position located in Saint Paul, MN.
- Full-time role, onsite during regular school day hours: 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Contract for the full academic year.
