Clinical Trainer
Reports to: Infrastructure Director Status: Non-Exempt Location: Crook County Medical Services District
POSITION SUMMARY
As an onsite and remote Clinical Trainer with CCMSD, you are responsible for supporting the education of newly hired team members, physicians and vendors resources as needed. You will provide essential training and guidance to help them succeed in their new roles. This position offers a unique opportunity to be the first cornerstone in a CCMSD resource's career journey, overseeing their training curriculum, and professional development as they progress over time.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
The Clinical Trainer is responsible for educating internal team members and contracted personnel on all workflows, clinical processes, certification courses and biomedical devices.
- Professional, reliable, proven leadership experience, confidence and creative problem-solving skills working in a fast-paced environment.
· As a Clinical Trainer, you will teach professional development and train clinical staff in medical settings.· Strong group presentation and people skills, can work independently, and is a model of professionalism· Formulate teaching outline and determine instructional methods such as instructor led group training, computer-based training, videos, webinars, over the phone training, self-paced, conferences, meetings, workshops, and more· Actively update training content following state compliance/rules/regulations· Conduct training sessions covering specific areas such as on-the-job training, refresher training, ongoing training, and specialized training· Report on progress and effectiveness of training sessions and seek constructive feedback to continue to elevate the level of training within the organization· Collaborate closely with organization to understand how training/education efforts can help positively impact efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall care quality· Manage company training systems and policies in our policy management system· Generation of EMR reporting to help decide where training focus needs to be proactivelyQualifications
Education and other qualifications
- RN degree with strong clinical knowledge is preferred
- Active unrestricted nursing license in at least one state within the United States.
- Recent experience in Acute Care, ICU, ED, or Teaching in Hospitals
- Previous experience in clinical training or education preferred.
- Utilization Management experience preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent computer proficiency.
- Ability to work independently, undistracted, and collaboratively in a remote setting.
- Knowledge of MS Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word applications. May travel to continuing education workshops and/or fill in at other Departments and Clinics as
