OVERVIEW:
The CTS III is responsible for providing world class training and support for physicians and staff on the use and integration of RxSight products and technology. Position will support clinical efforts at Customer site(s) via clinical support and monitoring surgery, supporting clinical evaluations and LDD treatments, reviewing post-operative visits and patient follow-ups and supporting clinical data collection for completion and compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP). Position will provide consistent, high-level support to Customer sites, fostering full integration of RxSight products and device-related clinical methods into their clinical practice. Position will support commercial customer sites as well as investigational study sites in a highly regulated environment, providing timely data feedback and reporting as needed. Position will interact heavily with Customers as well as internal RxSight departments to maintain a well-developed, transparent communication path to ensure the voice of the customer is clearly and consistently heard.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Train Physicians and staff on RxSight technology and best practices.</li>
<li>Communicate with sites to identify key on-site personnel, set proper expectations to ensure full site readiness to accept RxSight technology prior to customer onboarding.</li>
<li>Ensure staff supporting physicians are fully educated and trained on RxSight technology to full competence, enabling Rapid Adoption of RxSight technology within the customer site.</li>
<li>Oversee and manage Customer introduction, onboarding and ongoing training/educational activities to ensure full operational competence in compliance with current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as directed.</li>
<li>Ensure continuous procedure and training adherence for trained staff and physicians by conducting periodic audits of the effectiveness of the Clinical Training program.</li>
<li>Assist with customer complaint-handling and management, as applicable.</li>
<li>Support and manage Clinical Study sites to include: monitoring and maintaining compliance to clinical protocols, data integrity, data collection, documentation and transfer practices.</li>
<li>Assist with On-the-Job Training (OJT) of new RxSight clinical applications personnel to ensure training effectiveness and competence to training standards.</li>
<li>Provide consistent clinical support to set expectations and properly educate and train customers with regards to patient evaluation/selection, RxLAL implantation as well as postoperative evaluation and LDD treatments with a focus on patient safety, customer support and continuous improvement of the Clinical Training program.</li>
<li>Provide strategies and feedback for implementing clinical methodology to optimize results of RxSight technology.</li>
<li>Assist and/or lead troubleshooting efforts regarding unexpected clinically-relevant incidents; involving other members of the company for support and/or expertise as deemed appropriate.</li>
<li>Monitor and update the Training Portal regularly to ensure accurate reflection of CTS/customer activity as well as training readiness of each customer site.</li>
<li>Provide excellent Customer support for customers assigned within your geographical region as measured by periodic Customer Satisfaction Surveys.</li>
<li>Monitor and analyze trends within your specific region and ensure communication to the Director, Global Clinical Operations, Associate Director, Global Clinical Education, RD&amp;E and other departments as appropriate for continued process improvement.</li>

Requirements:
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

<li>Demonstrable ability to liaise with individuals of all levels, to include surgeons, clinical staff and facility administrators.</li>
<li>Significant clinical experience including planning of cataract surgery, refractions/biometry and associated device operations.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of the cataract patient diagnostic and evaluative process at the clinic level, including patient flow.</li>

Major Duties and Responsibilities
The Activities Director is responsible for directing the development, implementation, supervision and ongoing evaluation of the activities program designed to meet the social, psychosocial and therapeutic needs of the resident. This includes the completion and/or directing/delegating the completion of the activities component of the comprehensive assessment; and contributing to and/or directing/delegating the contribution to the comprehensive care plan goals and approaches that are individualized to match the skills, abilities, and interests/preferences of each resident in compliance with Federal and State regulations. 
Directing the activity program includes scheduling of activities, both individual and groups, implementing and/or delegating the implementation of recreational, educational, cultural and arts and crafts programs, monitoring the response, reviewing and evaluating the response to the programs to determine if the activities meet the assessed needs of the resident, and making revisions as necessary. The Director ensures that scheduled program activities are carried out seven days per week. The Director will ensure each resident is offered at least one (1) cognitive activity, two (2) recreational activities and three (3) ADL activities daily. Activities are to be tailored to the resident’s unique requirements and skills. At least one individual activity is planned for residents who are unable or unwilling to participate in group activities daily. Oversees the transportation of residents to social activities programs inside and outside the facility.
The Activities Director is responsible for the assurance of resident safety during activities and items that are safety hazards are strictly controlled. Harmful items will be monitored closely during resident use and put away immediately after each use. Activity cabinets and closets are locked at all times when not in immediate use.
The Activities Director is responsible for overseeing the establishment of a Resident Council and responsible for its smooth operation and documentation such as meeting minutes and concerns expressed during the Council meetings.
The Activities Director is required to perform a variety of administrative functions pertaining to departmental operations, such as but not limited to, assisting with the orientation of newly hired staff; development of departmental policies and procedures; delegation of work assignments of staff; completion of employee performance evaluations and the development of formal and informal staff educational in-service programs to ensure the highest level of quality care possible is provided to residents.

Functional Description: 
 
The candidate will coordinate with a DDG Regional Chief Instructor to provide instructional services for the Command and Staff College Distance Education Program (CSCDEP). The candidate must possess the requisite skills, experience, and abilities to lead discussions, grade seminar contributions and papers, and mentor U.S. and foreign military personnel and DOD and interagency civilians enrolled in the CSCDEP seminars. The program is executed over two academic years, with faculty teaching four associated courses (a total of 35 weeks of seminar) during each academic year. The first year includes courses 8901 (Theory and Nature of War), 8902 (National and International Security Studies), 8903 (Joint Operations) and 8904 (Operational Art). The second year covers courses 8905 (Small Wars), 8906 (MAGTF Expeditionary Operations), 8907 (Naval Expeditionary Operations) and 8908 (Operation Planning). All courses are offered once a year in onsite, online (synchronous) and online (asynchronous) formats.
