POSITION SUMMARY:
The Regional Health &amp; Wellness Director is responsible for member and program participant satisfaction and retention through quality Health &amp; Wellness programs and practices that promote member engagement. This position will oversee the Heath &amp; Wellness programs of our Visser Family and SpartanNash YMCAs, and will involve a flexible schedule, with consistent evening and weekend hours required. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Human Resources Management
· Interview, hire, train, and directly manage health &amp; wellness team members including Group Fitness Instructors, Personal Trainers, and Heath &amp; Wellness Specialists.
· Responsible for the cultivation of staff with knowledge, skills and abilities to support the health seeker
· Review, approve, and submit payroll for direct reports
 
Program Development
· Manages group fitness classes, schedules, and staffing to maximize member participation.
· Evaluate group fitness offerings and advocate for new modalities to meet the needs of our diverse membership base and stay current with fitness trends.
· Support Associate Director of Health and Wellness in establishing and maintaining personal training services and standards
· Oversees and executes community health programs, including Livestrong at the YMCA and grant-funded programs
· Develop relationships with businesses and partners to deliver health and wellness programming to the community
· Establishes new program activities, increases participation, and expands programming within the community in accordance with Association and operating plans
· Responsible for program enrollment, retention, evaluation, payment records, and reporting of records to the Associate Executive Director.
 
Membership Development and Retention
· Acts as Leader on Duty (LOD) as needed to provide branch leadership.
· Actively seeks member feedback, resolving concerns and complaints to improve the member experience. This includes reviewing and responding to all listen360 feedback.
· Implement New Member onboarding programs, training health and wellness staff to effectively contribute to goal achievement, relationship development, program engagement with all members during their first 30 days of joining the Y
 
Fiscal Management
· Responsible for all aspects of budget management for Group Fitness and Health and Wellness departments.
· Support Associate Director of Health and Wellness in achieving personal training revenue goals
· Prepares cost analysis on existing and new programs
· Assists with annual campaign and special events
· Stewardship of major gifts and grants that support health and wellness programs.
· Manages bi-weekly payroll responsibilities for direct reports
 
Facility Management
· Enforces facility rules, member policies, and procedures
· Maintains current standards of training equipment and procedures
· In partnership with Facilities Team, monitors equipment usage and condition.
· Communicates safety standards
· Reviews and responds to Navex incident cases as needed
 
Training and Wellness
· Coach personal training sessions and fitness programs
· Instruct group exercises classes
· Work wellness shifts as needed per branch needs

Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in an Exercise Science related field from a four-year college or university; three to five years related experience in Exercise Science or related Health and Wellness field; three to five years' experience Personal Training and Program development; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Supervisory experience required. Desire to work hands on with members. Ability to interact with people from all ethnic backgrounds, ages, and lifestyles. Working knowledge of computers and experience with a variety of software applications or ability to learn propriety software to enter or edit member information. YMCA or Not for Profit Management experience preferred. Computer software experience required.

Geometry &amp; Algebra II)
Reports To: Building Principal
General Responsibilities:
The teacher will work closely with students and teachers to provide a Christ-centered, college preparatory science and stem curriculum. Subjects to be taught may include Geometry and math support. Potential Bible classes available based on candidate.
The qualified individual must be an evangelical Christian committed to living a Biblical lifestyle. He/she is expected to demonstrate patience, humility, integrity, and kindness while performing his or her day-to-day duties. He/she must be devoted to prayerfully work with administration, faculty, students, and parents.
