The Assistant Director (AD) for Residential Education reports to the Associate Director for Residential Education and is responsible for oversight and leadership of 2-4 residentially-based Learning Communities (LCs) that house between 1300 to 1900 students (roughly one-third of the on-campus population). The responsibilities of this position include training, supervision, development, and evaluation of 2-3 frontline full-time professional staff members (including Area Coordinators and/or Residence Directors) and 1 Graduate Coordinator. As a member of the Residential Education Leadership Team, the AD is responsible for overseeing the administrative and management functions of their Campus Area, as well as assisting in the development of policies and procedures for the department. The AD supports the ACs/RD to establish Learning Communities that foster community and civic engagement, enhance learning, advance diversity and inclusion, and promote student health, engagement, and success. This is a required live-on position.&nbsp; Successful candidates will be subject to background check due to the live-in nature of this position. Non-standard work hours are required, External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees.
Minimum Qualifications: A Master’s Degree is required in Higher Education and Student Affairs, Student Personnel, Counseling, Education, and related field, and at least 3-year full-time experience is required.

The Michigan Society of Fellows was founded in 1970 through grants from the Ford Foundation and Horace H. Rackham School of Graduate Studies for the purpose of promoting academic and creative excellence in the humanities, the arts, the social, physical, and life sciences, and in the professions. The objective of the Society is to provide financial and intellectual support for individuals holding advanced degrees in their fields, who are selected for their outstanding achievement, professional promise, and interdisciplinary interests.&nbsp;
Candidates should be near the beginning of their professional careers. Those selected for fellowships must have received the Ph.D. degree or comparable artistic or professional degree between June 1, 2021, and August 26, 2024. Fellows are appointed as Assistant Professors in appropriate departments and as Postdoctoral Scholars in the Michigan Society of Fellows. They are expected to be in residence in Ann Arbor during the academic years of the fellowship, to teach for the equivalent of one academic year, to participate in the informal intellectual life of the Society, and to devote time to their independent research or artistic projects. This is not an artist-in-residence program but rather an opportunity to develop one’s work in conversation with fellows from a range of disciplines during the three years of the fellowship. We seek a diverse and international pool of applicants and especially welcome candidates from underrepresented backgrounds. The College of Science is seeking a Program Coordinator. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), 12-month, professional faculty position. Duties include, but are not limited to: support and promote teaching, scholarship, and community engagement activities; administer contracts; supervise and evaluate the academic directors and faculty personnel roster; launch faculty development programs; assess recruitment and hiring priorities; oversee the promotion and tenure process, faculty appointments, merit salary increases, and sabbatical leaves; respond to faculty grievances; support program review and assessment of the learning enterprise; guide various programs including instructional services, off-campus and continuing education programs, summer session, inter-institutional programs, various galleries and collections, and all that is necessary to support coursework, research, and intellectual exploration associated with the university’s intellectual life; give direction to research, grants and sponsored programs, and other creative endeavors; maintain effective channels of communication with the President, faculty, and Faculty Senate; serve as strategist in the faculty collective bargaining enterprise; and create a culture of collective ownership and accountability while collaborating on decision-making processes quickly and effectively.</li>
<li>Lead Strategic Enrollment Management and Student Affairs (25%) The Provost &amp; VPAA/SA is the Chief Enrollment Officer responsible for the executive leadership, strategic planning, and administrative oversight for all operations and support functions associated with the recruitment, retention, and engagement of students. Duties include, but are not limited to: foster creative thinking that builds on SOU’s strong tradition as a student-centered institution; guide strategic efforts to address issues related to student development, health and wellness, success, equity, and retention; address issues related to the review, implementation, improvement, and enhancement of policies, procedures, and program-specific services; and oversee Enrollment Services, Student Success, and Admissions and Recruitment to ensure efficiency in operations that drive enrollment growth that aligns with institutional goals.</li>
<li>External Outreach (10%) The Provost &amp; VPAA/SA partners with the president to implement SOU’s mission, vision, core values, and strategic directions in a manner that realizes growth that enhances student learning opportunities and positively impacts financial and economic development. This position develops and cultivates public-private partnerships with local, regional, and statewide business and industry.</li>
<li>Accreditation (10%) The Provost &amp; VPAA/SA administers activities related to the accreditation and the external review of SOU and its schools, departments, and programs. This position ensures compliance with various academic disciplines and their respective accreditation agencies.</li>
<li>Budget &amp; Resources (10%) The Provost &amp; VPAA/SA designs effective budget models for Academic and Student Affairs. This position analyzes financial information to include revenues and expenditures to ensure all operations are within budget; develops long-range planning and budget priorities; and provides supervision, evaluation and professional development for administrative and support staff.</li>
<li>Other Duties as Assigned (5%) The Provost &amp; VPAA/SA performs other duties as assigned by the president, including but not limited to: participating or leading ad hoc and standing working and advisory committees; serving on search committees; and representing SOU at functions, panels, and events.</li>

Qualifications: Minimum:

<li>Ph.D. or other terminal degree with a record of teaching and scholarship suitable for a tenured faculty appointment.</li>
<li>At least five years of successful leadership in a senior level position with academic administration, program development, budgeting, and personnel management experience.</li>

Working within a team, the Electronic Resources Librarian is responsible for the acquisition, receipt, maintenance, and renewal of electronic resources for the library. The Electronic Resources Librarian resolves electronic access problems, performs regular cleanup of data, and maintains records related to the library’s e-resources. Reporting to the Senior Electronic Resources Librarian, the Electronic Resources Librarian routinely interacts with cataloging staff, collection development staff, vendors, and publishers. The Electronic Resources Librarian assists with other projects within the Technical Services Division as needed.

Position Description The University of Washington Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology is seeking one (1) full-time academic Anatomic Pathologist in Gastrointestinal (GI), Hepatic and Pancreatic Pathology.
