Childcare Training and Development Coach
The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking a Childcare &amp; Preschool Training and Development Coach to provide training, coaching, and support to daycare and preschool teachers onsite, in their classrooms. 
The ultimate goal of our Early Education Coach / Trainer is to provide our children, families, teachers, and administrators with care, mentoring, training, and education all within a safe environment.
 Pay range: $18.00-$20.00 plus FREE childcare *Now offering a $2,000 sign on bonus!
Candidates with advanced education and experience in early childhood education may qualify for higher pay within the range. Regular increases are considered with additional education, stellar performance, and years of service. 
Job Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Provide technical assistance to teachers in areas such as childcare licensing and compliance, quality rated improvement systems, high quality environments for young children, positive guidance, and more.</li>
<li>Observe, train, and coach teachers related to quality in their classrooms and schools as related to licensing, curriculum, quality rating improvement systems, and accreditation as applicable.</li>
<li>Support programs with compliance related to childcare licensing, health/sanitation, program quality, QRIS, and/or accreditation, as applicable.</li>
<li>Plan and implement process/preparation for QRIS and/or accreditation evaluation related to cleaning/creating safe and healthy environment, room arrangement, material selection, and curriculum implementation.</li>
<li>Coach teachers on appropriate interactions and quality practices related to our developmentally-appropriate curriculum, safe and healthy environments for children, positive guidance, and nurturing and responsive interactions with children.</li>
<li>Actively participate in the orientation and onboarding of new teachers.</li>
<li>Occasional work may be required on evenings and/or weekends.</li>
</ul>
Requirements
<ul>
<li>Lead Teacher qualified.</li>
<li>Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of 24 credit hours of Early Childhood Education is required, if degree is not in ECE.</li>
<li>At least 3 years of experience as a teacher or primary care provider in licensed daycare, preschool, or early education setting with infants, toddlers or preschoolers required.</li>
<li>Experience with employees located in multiple sites preferred.</li>
</ul>
 Knowledge Requirements &amp; Professional Skills
<ul>
<li>Exceptional knowledge of developmentally-appropriate curriculum and instruction techniques for young children; demonstrated ability to coach teachers on how to implement curriculum activities.</li>
<li>Exceptional knowledge of Environment Rating Scales; demonstrated ability to coach teachers on appropriate interactions and practices.</li>
<li>Comprehensive knowledge of effective room arrangement in a variety of settings.</li>
<li>Practical knowledge and use of chosen curriculum including the following: planning form and planning resources, applicable daily schedule, child portfolios as well as observations, work samples, and assessments.</li>
<li>Completes work with minimal supervision; ability to set goals for self and manage those goals.</li>
<li>Ability to juggle a variety of duties at multiple schools at the same time.</li>
<li>Ability to occasionally travel to other areas, when needed, to help with special projects. This may involve evening, weekends, or overnight stays.</li>
