A full-time opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to support K-12 students in a Toledo, OH school setting on a contract basis for the current school year. This role offers the chance to make a direct impact on student achievement and well-being through comprehensive psychological services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to evaluate student cognitive, social-emotional, and behavioral functioning
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and administrators
- Provide counseling and intervention services to students requiring additional support
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure appropriate services and accommodations
- Consult with educators and families on strategies to promote positive student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and comply with relevant educational and confidentiality regulations
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state license or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 students in an educational setting preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage caseload effectively within the specified contract period
