Job DescriptionChristian Heritage School (CHS) is a thriving academically and spiritually rigorous Christian day school located in Southern Connecticut. With over 400 students, it is one of the largest K-12 Christian schools in the Northeast and draws students from numerous towns across the state. It has a diverse student body that comes together to grow in knowledge, faith, and character within a loving, grace-filled environment.

Science Teacher: 7-8th grade The ideal candidate will guide students through engaging, hands-on learning using a biblically integrated curriculum that covers life science, chemistry, and physics—revealing God’s intelligent design through creation. Experience and willingness to coach an athletic sport is beneficial and would be compensated with a stipend.

Anticipated start date on or about August 15, 2025

Job Requirements:

Candidate must be professionally qualified, who enjoys working with young people and who, by the pattern of their lives, are Christian role models in faith and deed.

  • College degree
  • Teaching Certificate preferred
  • Relevant and rich teaching experiences
  • A love for and understanding of children and young students
  • A clear understanding and acceptance of Biblical principles
  • A strong personal Christian faith in alignment with CHS Statement of Faith
