A full-time School Psychologist position is available on a contract basis in Emeryville, California. This role involves providing psychological services to support student learning and well-being within an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop intervention strategies.
- Provide counseling and support to students facing academic, behavioral, or emotional challenges.
- Assist in creating Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior plans.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional expertise.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid credential or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working within school settings is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, psychological theories, and intervention techniques.
