Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.

An exciting opportunity awaits for a professional dedicated to enhancing the educational and emotional well-being of students in an elementary school setting. This role focuses on providing psychological assessments and interventions for students aged 6th to 8th grade, within a vibrant community of approximately 1000 learners.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • State licensure or certification in School Psychology.
  • Experience working with middle school-aged students, particularly in evaluations and interventions.
  • Strong understanding of MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Location:

  • Aurora, IL

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations and reevaluations for a caseload of about 45 students.
  • Facilitate domain and eligibility meetings, ensuring compliance with state and school regulations.
  • Participate in problem-solving (MTSS) meetings to address student needs collaboratively.
  • Develop and implement group interventions based on students' interests and needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student achievement and well-being.
