Qualifications:
- Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Masters Degree in Education or related field
- Valid Washington State DHH certification
- Previous experience working with K-12 students, particularly in an itinerant role
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with staff and families
Location: Everett, WA
Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored educational services to students who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have limited hearing
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other educators and specialists
- Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet varying needs
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and documentation as required by the district
- Engage with families to support student goals and enhance munication
