Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years deaf & hard of hearing experience required.

In a vibrant educational environment, professionals specializing in deaf and hard of hearing services are sought to support K-12 students for the uping school year. This contract position offers an opportunity to work with a diverse student population, focusing on fostering effective munication and learning strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL)
  • Masters Degree in Education or related field
  • Valid Washington State DHH certification
  • Previous experience working with K-12 students, particularly in an itinerant role
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with staff and families

Location: Everett, WA

Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored educational services to students who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have limited hearing
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other educators and specialists
  • Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet varying needs
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and documentation as required by the district
  • Engage with families to support student goals and enhance munication
