We are seeking a Financial Aid Advisor to become an integral part of our team! You will take charge of successfully helping students go through the process of applying for and determining eligibility for financial aid awards for career focused trades and vocational training programs the school offers.
Responsibilities:
- Act as first point of contact for all financial aid eligibility inquiries
- Coordinate school financial aid services
- Perform general administrative work such as filing and data entry
- Advise students on required paperwork for compliance with their financial aid eligibility
- Review files and resolve problems with paperwork
Qualifications:
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in financial aid preferred or other related skills and comparable regulated compliance experience
