Qualifications:
- Active Special Education License in Pennsylvania
- Experience working with middle school-aged students, particularly in inclusion and co-teaching settings
- Strong understanding of various disabilities, including SLD, OHI, ASD, and ED
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
Location:
West Chester, PA
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with general education teachers to create and implement effective co-teaching strategies
- Develop and maintain IEPs tailored to the unique needs of each student
- Provide targeted support to students with varying disabilities within an inclusion classroom
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting instructional methods as needed
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and challenges
