We are seeking an experienced Sales Trainer to join our dynamic team and elevate the performance of our call center sales representatives.
Position Overview:
The Sales Trainer plays a crucial role in the ongoing development and delivery of training programs designed to enhance the skills and effectiveness of our sales team. This individual is responsible for adding to our existing comprehensive training materials, conducting engaging new hire training, continuing education training sessions, and evaluation and improvement of the company’s training programs to meet the evolving needs of our debt restructuring call center.

Location: Scottsdale, Arizona (IN OFFICE POSITION)
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Program Development: Utilize existing training materials and training syllabus to design and develop training programs and materials that cover all aspects of the debt restructuring sales process, including compliance, objection handling, and closing techniques.
- Conduct Training Sessions: Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions for new hires and ongoing training for current sales representatives, ensuring they understand and can effectively apply best practices in debt restructuring sales.
- Performance Assessment: Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through performance metrics, feedback, and observations. Adjust training strategies based on these evaluations to meet the changing needs of the team.
- Coaching and Mentoring: Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to sales representatives to improve their performance, address challenges, and help them achieve their individual sales goals.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure that all training materials and practices comply with industry regulations and company standards. Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to incorporate relevant information into training programs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales management to identify training needs, set objectives, and implement strategies that support the overall goals of the call center.
- Reporting: Maintain records of training activities, attendance, and performance metrics. Prepare regular reports on training outcomes and recommendations for improvement.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of debt restructuring processes, call center operations, and sales techniques. Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences. Strong analytical skills to assess training effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft office.
Experience and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, or a related field preferred.
- Relevant certifications in sales training or coaching are a plus.
- 5 years of experience in sales training, experience within the financial services or debt restructuring industry.
- 5 years within debt restructuring processes, call center operations, and sales techniques. Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- 5 years of CRM systems experience – Sales Force experience preferred.
- 5 years Proficiency in training software.
Travel:
- Occasional travel to Irvine, CA office to conduct in-person training.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
