Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years Deaf & Hard of Hearing Specialist experience required.

This full-time position is for a Teacher specializing in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education, serving K-12 students for the 2025/26 school year. The role is based in Sun Prairie, WI, within a K-12 school setting, and is offered on a contract basis for the full school year.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering tailored instruction and support for students who are deaf or hard of hearing across all grade levels
• Collaborating with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to ensure accessibility and effective communication
• Developing individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitoring student progress
• Utilizing appropriate technology and resources to support student learning
• Participating in ongoing professional development and team meetings

Desired qualifications:

• Certification or licensure in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education
• Experience working with K-12 students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Strong communication skills and ability to adapt instructional methods
• Knowledge of assistive technology and auditory-oral educational strategies
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
