Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students in a school-based setting in Charleston, SC. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact by providing behavioral support to students with special needs, helping them develop essential skills for academic and social success.
Job Overview
As an RBT, you will work under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior intervention plans, support students with developmental and behavioral challenges, and help create a structured and positive learning environment. You will play a key role in assisting students with improving communication, social interactions, and adaptive behaviors.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under BCBA supervision.
- Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students in the classroom and other school settings.
- Assist students in developing communication, social, and adaptive skills.
- Collect and record behavioral data to track student progress.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student learning and engagement.
- Utilize positive reinforcement strategies to encourage appropriate behaviors.
- Assist in crisis intervention and implement de-escalation techniques as needed.
Qualifications
- Active RBT certification required.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
- Experience working with children, special education, or behavioral therapy preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to student needs and follow behavior intervention plans effectively.

- Pay Rate: $2228 per hour (based on experience)
- Job Type: Full-time, contract position
- Location: Charleston, SC
- Schedule: MondayFriday, school hours
