Summary
FPNS is a close-knit community of loving teachers dedicated to nurturing young children through play, exploration, and connection, understanding and recognizing the needs of each child.We are a small, play-based preschool serving children ages 3–5. At FPNS, we emphasize community, joy, and teamwork. Our play-based curriculum supports the cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development of each child through hands-on experimentation, small-group learning, and discovery. We are currently hiring for ourPre-K classroom, where we prepare children for Kindergarten. We believe that children thrive in environments where they feel safe, valued, and free to express themselves, becoming more confident, independent, and curious every day.

Duties
- Assist in planning and implementing hands-on activities that support the cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and language development of children in preparation for Kindergarten.
- Apply developmentally appropriate practices and early childhood education principles to foster each child’s growth and readiness for school.
- Support a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and curiosity.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children at all times, both indoors and outdoors.
Start Date: August 25, 2025
Schedule:
- Monday Wednesday: 8:30AM – 2:30PM
- Tuesday, Thursday Friday: 8:30AM – 12:30PM
Requirements
Clear full background check
Current Health Form
Preferred:
Degree (Associate or above) in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, related field, or equivalent
At least one year of classroom experience
Welcome:

Experience working with young children
Currently attending school for Early Childhood Education
