Qualifications:

- Valid state teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in a special education environment
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Knowledge of teaching strategies for students with special needs
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement educational programs tailored to each student's unique needs
- Develop and maintain individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with students, parents, and staff
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the social and emotional development of students
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure a prehensive approach to each student's education
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting teaching methods and IEP goals as necessary
