A full-time School Psychologist position is available serving K-12 students in a dynamic school setting located in Sandusky, OH. This role offers a contract position for the current school year, providing an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student needs and support learning
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed
- Utilize data to guide decision-making and monitor student progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise on student development and behavior
- Assist in the implementation of school-wide programs aimed at improving student mental health and academic performance
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification or licensure for School Psychologists in Ohio
- Experience working with K-12 student populations in educational settings
- Strong assessment, counseling, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff, families, and community resources
- Knowledge of state and federal education laws related to special education
Work Schedule:
- Full-time position, 35 to 37.5 hours per week
