An opportunity exists for a dedicated School Psychologist to make a meaningful impact in a supportive K-12 educational environment located in Reading, PA. This position spans across various grade levels, offering the chance to apply your skills in elementary, middle, and high schools based on your preference and expertise.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Active school psychologist certification or licensure in PA
- Experience working in K-12 settings, particularly with diverse populations
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills
- Ability to provide counseling and support to students
- Excellent collaboration and munication skills
- Knowledge of IEP/504 processes and intervention planning
Location:
Reading, Pennsylvania
Responsibilities:
- Conduct prehensive psychological evaluations and educational assessments
- Provide individual and group counseling to students, fostering their emotional and academic growth
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop tailored support strategies
- Participate in IEP/504 meetings and contribute to intervention planning
- Write clear, timely, and prehensive psychoeducational reports
- Assist with behavior intervention plans and social-emotional support programs
- Support multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) within the district
