Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years visually impaired experience required.

Applicants must hold appropriate license and credential through the state board to be considered for the position. Those who do not meet these requirements will not be considered.

State and Federal Requirements:

• Valid Florida teaching certificate with endorsement in Visual Disabilities (K12)

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education, Vision Studies, or related field

• Fingerprint and background check clearance

• Legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Description:

• Provide instruction and support for students with visual impairments

• Adapt curriculum and materials to meet students' needs

• Consult with general education teachers and staff

• Monitor progress and participate in IEP meetings
