Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An Elementary School is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Special Education Teacher to provide support and instruction for a caseload of 19 students in grades K-6 with mild to moderate needs. The position is a full academic year contract, running from August 19th through June 15th, with onsite responsibilities located in Littleton, NH.
Responsibilities include:
- Creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs
- Delivering specialized instruction and support to students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Collaborating with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student success
- Monitoring and documenting student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
- Managing classroom behavior and fostering a positive learning environment
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience working with elementary-aged students (K-6) with mild-moderate intensity needs
- Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to maintain detailed records and foster a supportive classroom atmosphere

Duration: Contract for the full academic year (Aug 19 June 15)
Schedule: Full-time, on-site
