Bachelor’s degree in Education, valid state Teaching license or certification, and 1+ years Teaching experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-semester opportunity is available for a dedicated 6th Grade English Language Arts (ELA) teacher at an elementary school in Bamberg, South Carolina. This full-time position offers the chance to engage and inspire young learners throughout the 2025-2026 academic year, with a contract running from late July through early June.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver prehensive 6th Grade ELA instruction aligned with curriculum standards.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to promote literacy, reading prehension, and writing skills.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support academic growth.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to school activities and professional development.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid teaching certification in General Education or English Language Arts.
- Proven experience teaching elementary-level ELA, preferably 6th grade.
- Strong munication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
