About the Role:
As Principal – CAS, you will be responsible for leading client engagements, driving strategic growth, and mentoring a dynamic team. You will play a critical role in expanding the CAS practice while delivering exceptional financial advisory services to a diverse portfolio of small- to mid-market clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct 10+ strategic meetings weekly with business owners, executives, prospects, and centers of influence (COIs)
- Drive growth of the CAS practice through business development, proposal support, and service innovation
- Lead client advisory efforts, offering higher-level financial insights and strategic guidance
- Manage all aspects of client service engagements, including budgeting, billing, quality control, and team oversight
- Facilitate CAS process improvement and system optimization initiatives
- Oversee the onboarding process for new clients
- Foster collaboration with other service lines to ensure a seamless client experience
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing CAS team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master’s or advanced degree preferred
- Active CPA license required
- 12+ years in public accounting or professional services, with at least 6 years in CAS
- 10+ years of team management and leadership experience
- Proven success providing CFO-level advisory services
- Strong command of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting standards
- Industry exposure in manufacturing, construction, real estate, nonprofit, healthcare, and professional services preferred
- Visionary leader with a growth mindset and ability to build strong client relationships
