Value Stream Manager
Location: Franklin, Wisconsin
Reports To: Director of Operations

We’re looking for a results-driven Value Stream Manager to oversee our copper brass/aluminum heat exchanger production line. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead cross-functional teams, champion safety and efficiency, and play a key part in shaping our operational success. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the manufacturing process for the heat exchanger and copper/brass lines.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement and cost reduction projects.
- Implement and sustain lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a culture of safety.
- Maintain accuracy of routings and bills of materials.
- Collaborate with engineering, scheduling, and customer service teams to meet production goals.
- Participate in daily production meetings, biweekly control room meetings, and weekly operations staff meetings.
- Prioritize and ensure adherence to production schedules.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
- Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and regulations.
Working Conditions
- Environment: Manufacturing floor with potential exposure to temperature extremes, dust, fumes, and noise.
- PPE: Safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and hearing protection required.
- Physical Demands: Standing/walking for extended periods, occasional lifting (25–50 lbs), manual dexterity, and visual acuity.
- Schedule: Primarily day shift with occasional evening or weekend work as needed.
