An opportunity is available for a dedicated and skilled School Psychologist to provide valuable support to a female middle school student who is visually impaired. This role is ideally suited for professionals who are adept at creating inclusive learning environments and fostering positive educational experiences for students with special needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12 students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of visually impaired students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to advocate for and support student success.
- Provide counseling and guidance to students, facilitating their social and emotional development.
- Stay informed about best practices and current developments in special education and psychological services.
Qualifications:
- Master's or doctoral degree in Psychology or related field.
- Active licensure or certification in School Psychology.
- Experience working with visually impaired students, preferably in a K-12 setting.
- Strong skills in utilizing virtual tools for assessment and intervention.
