A leading educational staffing agency is seeking two dedicated Special Education Teachers for self-contained classrooms at an elementary school in Central Falls, RI, for the uping school year (NSY contract). These roles focus on delivering individualized instruction and fostering growth for students with diverse learning needs in a supportive, structured environment.

Openings include:

K1 Self-Contained Classroom (Mixed Disabilities)
- Serve a small group of students with varied disabilities.
- Collaborate closely with two full-time Teaching Assistants.
- Concentrate on early academic skills, munication development, and social-emotional growth.
Grades 45 Self-Contained Classroom (Mild/Moderate Disabilities)
- Support students requiring targeted academic and behavioral assistance.
- Work alongside one Teaching Assistant and a dedicated 1:1 aide for a specific student.
- Emphasize academic advancement, fostering independence, and preparing students for potential inclusion.

Core responsibilities include implementing individualized education program (IEP) goals, maintaining low student-to-teacher ratios, utilizing structured routines, and providing tailored instruction to promote student success and integration when appropriate. Collaboration with support staff is essential to enhance the learning experience.

Qualifications and desired experience:

Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
